Polarbear, little painting

Polarbear. Acrylic, ballpoint ink on Arches hotpress watercolour paper.
12,70 x 17,78cm/ 5" x 7", 2012. 

Work in process picture. I sketches everything on a coloured background. Added the white ink and finished it off with black ballpoint.  

 My niece gave birth to her first baby so I wanted to make something cute.

 By adding a little water to the ink I can let the little dots glow a little.

Lately....I'm kind of obsessed with the white ink on the dark background.
